Future school session dates for 2019-2020
The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to gather the views of parents and carers, pupils and staff on future school session dates for 2019-2020 and beyond. The survey is being carried out via an online questionnaire about the timing of school holidays and how the school year should look in future.
The survey will be open from Wednesday 4 October until Friday 10 November 2017.

Congratulations to our group of parents and pupils who completed this year’s Pedal for Scotland event, raising over £2,400 for the school.
It’s still possible to donate via our JustGiving page.
Well done to everyone who took part, particularly Joe (S1), Ruth (S1), Archie (S2), Ben (S3), Sam (S4), and Jack (S6)

Swimming
Well done to Jonah Walsh, gold medal winner in 200m Butterfly at the Scottish Schools Championships with a time of 2:13.76. Also two great PB’s for Felix Hale in 100m and 200m backstroke.
January Meeting
Our next Parent Council meeting is this Thursday 26th January, 7:00-9:00pm. We will be discussing Parent Council priorities for next year (including investment in school, community database etc) and the head teacher’s report.
You don’t have to be a member of the parent council to come to our meetings. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the school and help your child.
