Are you a gardener without a garden? Are you on the waiting list for an allotment? Would you like to support your local school?
If you have answered “yes” to these questions, then the Trinity Academy Community Garden could be for you.
The Council is setting up a community garden in Victoria Park over the next two months (using one of the old bowling greens). The school has the chance to take responsibility for part of that garden and are in the process of setting up a “green-fingered” team. A number of pupils and staff have already expressed an interest in the project.
We also need the support of parents and carers if we are to make a success of this venture and, particularly support the garden over the summer breaks. If you are willing to help in any way, please contact Mr Morris at the school by telephone (0131 478 5050) or email.
Our next Parent Council meeting is Tuesday 3rd March, as usual at 7:00pm. Any parents with kids at the school are welcome to attend and there is still time to contact us with any questions or issues.
Unfortunately the quiz night planned for the 27th has had to be cancelled as there was no janitorial cover available. We’re still looking to hold this event as soon as possible.
There’s a coursing information evening taking place at the school tomorrow 5th February for S3-S5 students:
S3 Parents/Carers – 6.30pm
S4/5 Parents/Carers – 7.30pm
The next fundraising (or should that be FUNdraising?) event at the school is a quiz night at 7:00pm on the 27th February. These evenings are always very enjoyable and a chance to raise much-needed funds for the school.
We’ll be in touch again with more details.
Welcome to the new look website of Trinity Academy Parent Council. We’ve busy developed this new website to replace the previous one that served us well for many years. We hope you like the new look. This site is designed to work on all computer screen sizes from a full desktop PC down to smartscreen sizes.
This new site is still very much a starting poing point so if you have any feedback or suggestions please get in touch.
The next meeting of the Parent Council is on Tuesday 3rd of March at 7pm in the school. These meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the Parent Council, what’s been happening at school and how you can help. We would love to see as many of you can make it along that night.
